Digital Radiology

The Digital Radiology Department of Cosmoclinic handles a large volume of patients daily, providing high-resolution imaging of the skeletal, thoracic, and abdominal systems. The department is staffed by specialized personnel who ensure the correct performance of examinations and the provision of appropriate instructions to patients.

The Department performs the full range of plain X-rays, such as chest, upper and lower extremities, spine, etc.

Records and Results

Digital images are stored electronically in each patient's individual file through the integrated PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). This ensures the maintenance of an examination archive with the possibility of comparison whenever needed.

Instructions for the Patient

• Inform the technologist about the possibility of pregnancy so that necessary protection measures can be taken or an alternative diagnostic method can be sought.

• Before the examination, you must remove jewelry and any clothing with metal accessories, buttons, or zippers.
