Medical Oncology Unit

The Medical Oncology Unit of Cosmoclinic is a modern and specialized department, dedicated to providing high-level oncological care.

With a patient-centered focus and an individualized approach to treatment, we offer a safe and compassionate environment, where scientific validity is combined with continuous medical monitoring.

The unit is staffed by experienced medical oncologists, who work closely with doctors of other specialties at Cosmoclinic, such as radiologists, pulmonologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, internists, urologists, orthopedists and cardiologists, ensuring comprehensive care.

Services

All modern forms of systemic therapy are provided at the Unit, including:

• Chemotherapy

• Targeted therapies

• Supportive medication, according to the needs and indications of each case

• Individualized dietary support

• Individualized physiotherapy support

Infrastructure and Equipment

Treatments take place in inpatient rooms of 1 to 3 beds, ensuring personal space, comfort and tranquillity, in an environment that differs significantly from the usual practice of administering treatments in chairs.

Each room features:

• Comfortable, electrically adjustable bed

• En-suite bathroom

• Television

The administration process is carried out under continuous medical supervision and with the application of all prescribed safety measures.

The Unit also features a special chamber (hood) for the dissolution and preparation of cytotoxic formulations, by specialised staff, strictly adhering to international safety and hygiene protocols.
