The facade of our clinic features an impressive work of art: a monumental mural depicting Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine. This choice was far from accidental. It reflects our deep roots and unwavering dedication to the fundamental principles of medical science: ethics, integrity, and the constant care for patients. The figure of Hippocrates, crafted by the world-renowned artist INO, serves as a constant reminder of our mission and the responsibility we bear toward every patient who entrusts us with their health.
The work bears the signature of INO, one of the most prominent contemporary street artists with international acclaim. A graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts, INO is globally recognized for his large-scale murals. His work is characterized by a dynamic, figurative style, deconstructed forms, and a dominant grayscale palette accented by splashes of vivid color (such as the light blue seen also here).
His provocative pieces of art often address social and political issues and have been featured in numerous exhibitions and festivals worldwide, adorning buildings in cities like Berlin, New York, Amsterdam, and, of course, Athens. The presence of his work on our clinic's facade expresses our belief that art and medicine, both dedicated to serving humanity, can coexist and inspire one another.
The imposing figure of Hippocrates, captured through INO’s unique technique, bridges the gap between classical wisdom and modern practice. This is precisely the vision of our clinic: to provide state-of-the-art medical services grounded in the timeless values and the oath established by Hippocrates himself. This mural is more than mere decoration. It is a statement of identity and a promise to our patients. It signifies that the care received at Cosmoclinic is built upon a foundation of science, ethics, and absolute respect for the individual.
